Dit jaar zal de Koninginnedagreceptie van het Consulaat plaatsvinden op zondag 2 mei van 16:00 – 18:00 uur bij de Dedham  Country & Polo Club, 124 Country Club Road, Dedham, MA 02026.  De Consul, de heer H.Th.J.E Gieskes en mevrouw L.J.M. Gieskes-Fauser nodigen u daarvoor van harte uit. Drankjes, echte hollandse bitterballen en haring zullen worden geserveerd! R.s.v.p. voor 19 april naar: nl.govbos@verizon.net of (617) 451 2330. Er is een shuttle service van/naar  Riverside Sation en de Dedham Country & Polo Club op zondagmiddag. 

Om er een echt Oranje feest van te maken koppelt de NAF Boston twee eigen activiteiten aan deze receptie. Beide activiteiten vinden eveneens plaats op de Dedham Country & Polo Club. 

1) Een "Oranje-boven" golftoernooi op zaterdagmiddag 1 mei  (aanvang 13.00 uur)

De kosten bedragen $150 waarin zijn begrepen green fees, lunch en een $50 donatie voor de NAF haar scholarship fund. Leden van de Dedham Country and Polo Club betalen slechts $50 (voor de donatie aan de NAF). Betaling vindt plaats via check (tav “Netherland-America Foundation”). De check kan worden gegeven bij de starting tee op zaterdagmiddag 1 mei of u kunt de check per post sturen ter attentie van Hans Gieskes, 515 Common st Dedham MA 02026. Gelieve per email een RSVP te sturen naar Hans@hgieskes.com .

 

2) Een feestelijk Oranje-diner, volgend op de receptie

Dit jaar bestaat het Oranje diner uit een heerlijk buffet met salade, vis, vlees en diverse groenten. Tevens wordt er een nagerecht en koffie/thee geserveerd. Een glas wijn, bier en softdrinks zijn bij de prijs inbegrepen. Prijs per couvert $55,- voor NAF-leden en $60 voor niet NAF-leden. Aanvang diner 6:30 PM.

 

Voor het diner kunt u zich aanmelden via onze website. Vermeld met hoeveel personen u komt. Indien u zich telefonisch wilt aanmelden dan kunt u contact opnemen met Annemarie Swager (781-489-5799). Gelieve zich aan te melden (en betalen) voor zondag 25 april. Stuur een cheque tnv "Netherland-America Foundation" met het totale  bedrag naar de penningmeester van de NAF Boston Erik Rijnbout, 122 Parish Rd, Needham MA 02494.

This year the Queen's Day reception will be held at the Dedham Country & Polo Club, 124 Country Club Road, Dedham MA 02026,  on Sunday May 2 from 4:00 - 6:00PM . The Consul, Mr H.Th.J.E Gieskes and Mrs. L.J.M. Gieskes-Fauser cordially invite you to attend this reception.  Drinks, traditional Dutch “bitterballen” and herring will be served. In connection with this celebration the NAF Boston is organising two special events to make it a real "Oranje Party". Both events will also take place at the Dedham Country & Polo Club:

1) "Oranje-boven" golf tournament on Saturday May 1 (starting at 1pm)

We are organizing an "Oranje Boven" golf tournament on the beautiful 18-hole golf course at the Dedham Country & Polo Club. Start time: 1 PM. Costs are $150 which includes green fees, food & drinks after the match and a $50 to the NAF scholarship fund. Members of the Dedham Country & polo Club will only pay $50 to cover the NAF donation. Please bring a check made out to the "Netherland-America Foundation" to the starting tee on Saturday May 1, or mail it beforehand to Hans Gieskes, 515 Common Street Dedham MA 02026. Please register/rsvp by email to Hans@hgieskes.com.  

 

2) A festive "Oranje-dinner" following the reception

We will be offering a buffet style dinner with starter, entree (fish, meat) and a selection of vegetables. Dessert and coffee/tea will also be served. A glass of wine, beer or soft drink is also included in the price. Price per person is $55 for NAF-members and $60 for non-NAF members. Dinner will start at 6:30 pm.

Sign up (and payment) deadline is Sunday April 25.
