NAF Boston Queensday golf, dinner and auction

NAF Boston Queensday events raised $3500

On Sunday May 3rd the NAF Boston chapter had two successful events coinciding with the Queen’s Birth day reception: the annual NAF Oranje Boven Golf Tournament and the NAF Spring Dinner.  The golf tournament had 20 participants all dressed in orange who played a Texas Scramble match with an orange twist. Each team got three orange golf balls, one of which had to be used on every hole. Failure to return these three orange balls resulted in three penalty strokes being added to the team score.

It made quite a difference: Team Irene and team Magriet both had same score, but Magriet lost one orange ball… team Beatrix came in 3rd place, Wilhelmina in 4th and Juliana in 5th place (they lost two orange balls…) Golf match and dinner raised almost $3,500 for the NAF.
